HOTEL OPERATIONS INTERN | Odyssey Hotels

We are looking for a HOTEL OPERATIONS INTERN to work 6-8 weeks (June – August approximately). This person would/could work at any/all of our 3 adjacent MIlwaukee hotels (just north of Bayshore Mall) or at our 2 Kalamazoo hotels (near the airport). The Intern would be working in every aspect of hotel operations departments such as:

*housekeeping - cleaning guest rooms, washing/folding/organizing linens, cleaning public areas,

responding to guest requests

*front desk - checking guests in/out, assisting with any questions or issues, working with every

department to ensure guest expectations are met

*breakfast area - setting up continental breakfast, restocking items, keeping all areas clean,

talking with guests, tearing down breakfast area and following proper food safety and

cleanliness practices

*maintenance - shadowing a maintenance technician and performing light maintenance tasks

as skills allow

Hours would vary and require weekends, with some evenings.

This an excellent opportunity to dive into all facets of hotel life and learn how different hotels and brands run behind the scenes!
